Great Lakes Environmental Indicators Project

greatlakes06

This is part of a collaborative effort studying the effects of large-scale human disturbances on the biota of the Great Lakes. The Great Lakes Environmental Indicators study is looking at the plants, fish, invertebrates and water quality of the lakes to establish current baseline conditions and to identify useful bioindicator species. Other collaborators surveyed other organisms as well. We were responsible for leading and managing field work crews and overseeing GLEI database management at the University of Windsor. Currently we are conducting spatial analyses of potential indicator species.
