Entomology Reindeer Run Fast and Furious

Santa-Amber Marquardt, Dasher-Paula Layden, Dancer-Thelma Heidel, Prancer-Rodney Green, Vixen-Jody Green, Comet-Brandy Green, Cupid-Walter Baldauf, Donner-Matt VanWeelden, Blitzen-Paul Marquardt, and Rudolph-Margaret Schwinghammer.

On Saturday, December 1st 2007, the Lafayette Family YMCA held the 25th Annual Sleigh Bell 5K Run/Walk. Over 250 people participated in this race. Despite the 25 degree chill in the air and early morning start, Santa and her Reindeer showed up with bells on, ready to RUN. This festive group was made up of people from our own Entomology Department (and Family). Not only were they successful in winning the prize for best costume, but some reindeer also managed to prance their way into the winners circle and receive a medal.
