Fall 2017 AG Career Fair! Save the Date!!  october 3, 2017

Mark your calendars and plan to attend! The fair is open to all students and alums at Purdue and Ivy Tech.​

 

The Career Fair is not just for graduating students, it is for freshmen, sophomores and juniors who are exploring career paths or internship opportunities. The Career Fair is a great way to explore careers, pick-up company information and network with future employers and ask questions. The only person who can get you a job or an internship is you.

 

October 2, 2017- get ready for the career fair at the Resume Blitz, 11:00- 1:00 and 1:00 – 3:00, and the Employer panel 5:30-7:00 pm. Locations TBA.

 

College of Agriculture Fall Career Fair - Tuesday, October 3, 2017, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Cordova Recreational Sports Center.

ENTM 60000 NEW GRADUATE STUDENT ORIENTATION – NEW TIME AND LOCATION

If you are a new graduate student in the department, you should enroll in ENTM 60000.  The course  to meet at 4:00 PM – 5:50 PM in the Smith conference room, SMTH 131.

 

Register for Fall Classes and Candidacy Now!

Registration is open for the Fall 2017 semester. Add any courses and your research credit now. If you are planning to graduate, please let Amanda know as soon as possible so you can add candidacy CAND 99100 to your schedule! See attached Graduate Registration document for detailed instructions.

 

GRADUATE SCHOOL Summer 2017 Dates and Reminders

·         Saturday, August 5, 2016: Preliminary Exam Deadline (Doctoral Students Only)

·         Friday, July 21, 2017: Final Exam Deadline for CAND 99100 Registrants

·         Friday, July 28, 2017: Thesis Deposit Deadline for CAND 99100 Registrants

·         Saturday, August 5, 2017: Commencement

 

These dates, as well as other key 2016-17 deadlines, are available online on the Graduation Deadlines Calendar webpage for your reference. They have also been posted on a new “Announcements” page in the Graduate School Database.

 

Summer 2017 Commencement Participation

Major Professors can register to sign up to participate in his or her student’s commencement per and email that was sent out by the graduate school. To participate, you must register by July 24th, 2017, 10:00 pm. Answers to general questions you or your candidate may have regarding graduation may be found at https://www.purdue.edu/commencement/. Ph.D. candidates who wish to participate in a future commencement ceremony as a returnee must email the request to commencement@purdue.edu prior to the end of the term in which they graduate.
