Registration is open for the Fall 2016 semester. Add any courses and your research credit now.

Insecticide Resistance offered Fall 2016

ENTM 692: Insecticide Resistance will be offered this Fall and taught by Dr. Michael Scharf. 1 credit hour, 9:30 to 10:20 on Mondays. Add CRN 18917 to your schedule to take the course!

electronic Prelim/ Final Exam forms

Prelim and final examinations must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance with the graduate school via the plan of study website found on MyPurdue. If the final exam is not scheduled, you cannot graduate. This is in addition to scheduling the exam with Dr. Yaninek.  Soft Rollout for New Electronic Thesis Acceptance FOrm

The thesis office has announced the soft rollout of the new online Thesis Acceptance Form. Please note that usage of the ETA form will be optional throughout 2016, and the Thesis office will continue to accept paper thesis forms during the soft rollout period. Information about the ETA will be included in the upcoming thesis workshop presentations.

DLA Entomologist Position Available

Inspection Experts, Inc. (http://www.ieinc.net/index.html)  is looking for a high level entomologist for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The entomologist needs to be an embedded full time Entomologist at the DLA in Fort Belvoir, VA.  Approx. 15-20% travel required.   IEI is seeking for an extremely qualified candidate with a masters degree and knowledgeable in military pest application process and bugs (refer to attached position description). The position is one year appointment with potential for re-ups each year. The selected professional will serve as the Agency entomological advisor to the Agency Senior Leaders on integrated pest management methods to reduce or eliminate critical economic and health losses.  Also the individual will be responsible for the protection  of health and environment of DLA civilians and military service members and facilities in CONUS and OCONUS.
