Register for Summer/Fall 2016 now!

Registration is open for the Summer and Fall 2016 semesters. Add any courses and your research credit now.

 

If you are planning on graduating, please let Amanda know as soon as possible so you can add candidacy to your schedule!

 

Some things to keep in mind as you add your summer research/course hours:

·         69800 and 69900 are scheduled from May 16 through August 2

·         A maximum of 9 credits taken during Summer session are permitted.

·         Graduate staff must be registered for at least 3 credits in at least one of the Summer modules in order to hold their assistantships

Insecticide Resistance offered Fall 2016

ENTM 692: Insecticide Resistance will be offered this Fall and taught by Dr. Michael Scharf. 1 credit hour, 9:30 to 10:20 on Fridays. Add CRN 18917 to your schedule to take the course!

electronic Prelim/ Final Exam forms

Prelim and final examinations must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance with the graduate school via the plan of study website found on MyPurdue. If the final exam is not scheduled, you cannot graduate. This is in addition to scheduling the exam with Dr. Yaninek. Soft Rollout for New Electronic Thesis Acceptance FOrm

The thesis office has announced the soft rollout of the new online Thesis Acceptance Form. Please note that usage of the ETA form will be optional throughout 2016, and the Thesis office will continue to accept paper thesis forms during the soft rollout period. Information about the ETA will be included in the upcoming thesis workshop presentations.  

 

Scholarships & Awards

Arborjet 2016 “Taking Root” Scholarship

Arborjet, a leader in the care of America’s urban and natural forests, has announced its third annual “Taking Root” Scholarship Program for graduating high school seniors. As of today, Arborjet is accepting applications online through June 30 and will award 10 seniors each with a $1,000 scholarship to pursue full-time studies in Forestry, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, Entomology, Environmental Science or a related major at an accredited two-year or four-year college.
