PEDUNE
A Swiss-funded project "Protection Ecologiquement Durable du Niébé," or PEDUNE, aims to increase cowpea production in the Sahel and African savannas by applying ecologically sustainable pest control. Project activities are focused in Benin, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Mali, and Senegal. Among the proven technologies being disseminated by PEDUNE are CRSP-developed solar disinfestation and triple-bagging.
