Genome Data
Genome projects generate massive amounts of various sequence data types. Data generated by the IGP include:
- ~ 19M raw sequence reads (trace files) from Bacterial Artificial Chromosome (BAC), small, medium and large insert genomic clones, and fosmid clones
- 45 BACs, shotgun sequenced and assembled
- 367,000 BAC end sequences from a 10X Ixodes BAC library
- 39,022 ESTs from a pooled tissue, non-infected, standard Ixodes cDNA library
- 144,812 ESTs from a pooled tissue, non-infected, normalized Ixodes cDNA library
- i3 assembly based on 3.28 fold genome coverageof the Ixodes genome
Trace files, ESTs, assembled BACs, i3 contigs and scaffolds and gene models will be available through GenBank at the National Center for Biotechnology Information and VectorBase |
